Training modules on offer

Dress code: You can wear anything you are comfortable in, we provide white lab coats.

Module A; Microsurgical Techniques

 
5 days small group training (usually around 5-6 persons or other numbers by arrangement).
Our lab has for you an own operating station with Leica or Zeiss binocular operating microscope, full set of microsurgery instruments and all materials you will need.
You will experience hands on learning both in models and in living materials. This will typically involve blood vessel anastomoses, nerve repairs, skin flap preparation and other techniques of special interest to participants by agreement before or during the module.
 
This is the program of Module A
 

Module B; Experimental Research Techniques

 
5 days small group training (usually around 5-6 persons or other numbers by arrangement). You can train on both rats and mice (please indicate your specific needs when filling out the application form).
Our lab has for you an own operating station with Leica or Zeiss binocular operating microscope, full set of microsurgery instruments and all materials you will need.
You will experience hands on learning both in models and in living materials. If appropriate for you this can include;
• pharmacology models, for infusion and sampling, for temporary occlusion stroke models, for transplantation models or any others specifically relevant to your needs
• pharmacokinetic models, for infusion and sampling from arteries, veins, bile duct, gut or any other places relevant to your needs
• toxicology models, for single dose, multiple dose acute and chronic study designs and performance
• other techniques by agreement before or during the module
 
This is the program of Module B
 

Module C; Radio-telemetry in small rodents

 
3 days small group training (usually around 5-6 persons or other numbers by arrangement). You can train on both rats and mice (please indicate your specific needs when filling out the application form).
Our lab has for you an own operating station with Leica or Zeiss binocular operating microscope, full set of microsurgery instruments and all materials you will need.
You will experience hands on learning both in models and in living materials. If appropriate for you this can include;
• pharmacology models, for measuring ECG, EEG, blood pressure or other pressures or any others specifically relevant to your needs
• toxicology models, for studying QT-prolongation in a chronic study designs.
• other techniques by agreement before or during the module
