On Monday, I arrived at RRSSC without any microsurgical knowledge. On Friday, I was able to perform the implantation of a telemetry device into the carotid artery of the mouse. This June 2025 training was fantastic! It covered not only the basics of Good Surgical Practice, suturing, anaesthesia, and perioperative care of laboratory animals, but also a practical approach to our own techniques and problems.
